We are delighted to announce that Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens has been crowned the ‘Highest Rated Safari in England’ in a nationwide poll conducted by consumer brand Which?. Thousands of people were surveyed to find the best days out for animal lovers, with 81% naming the Park as the top safari in the country. “Awarded for their excellent visitor score, great value for money, commitment to conservation, and transparent pricing, among other criteria.”
According to Which?, the Park is: “Somewhere in-between a zoo and a safari park (it describes itself as a ‘walking safari’), Cotswold Wildlife Park brings spectacular species such as giraffes and lions to rural Oxfordshire, within a few minutes drive of the area’s famous Cotswold stone villages. It gets the full five stars for its wildlife experience and for the friendly customer service, as well as four out of five stars for attractiveness. ‘The animals all look healthy, well-cared for and happy,’ was one comment. The Park also has its own wildlife conservation charity”.
The Park’s Chairman, Reggie Heyworth, said: All of us at Cotswold Wildlife Park are so delighted to be voted in the Which? Survey as the Best Safari Park in England. Although people think of a safari as being in a vehicle, we like to think of our visitors as being out on a foot safari in nature, surrounded here by beautiful countryside, parkland and gardens, in which to see animals great and small”.
