Animal Encounters

Animal Encounters will give you the chance to learn more about our Keepers work; gain a little hands-on experience and help to feed and care for the animals at the Park.

Our Animal Encounters last around 30 minutes (although this varies depending on the animals) and are suitable for both adults and children (children must be at least six years old and are required to be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times). Age restrictions apply to the Lion Encounter.

Please Note: to ensure the safety of staff and participants of Animal Encounters, all participants are welcome to wear their own face mask and disposable gloves during their Animal Encounter whilst Covid 19 restrictions are in place. All keepers will be wearing face masks and gloves for the duration of the Encounter.

Animal Encounters are only for one person, per animal, per day.

Please see information about the Encounters for prices for one person (an adult is required to accompany anyone under the age of 17; a limited number of additional family or friends are welcome to watch and take photos, subject to the Park’s normal admission prices). Free admission to the Park for one person is included within the price.

All Animal Encounters must be booked and paid for at least one week in advance.
