As well as plenty of seasonal events, Cotswold Wildlife Park also has a range of activities that run daily throughout the year.
Penguin feeding
Penguin feeding takes place every day at 11.00am and 3.00pm in the Walled Garden. There are keepers on hand to answer questions. Find out about how you can take part in the Penguin feeding.
11.00am & 3.00pm (everyday)
Lemur feeding talk
Visit our spectacular “Madagascar” walk-through at 12 noon to find out more about the fascinating creatures of this unique island and the conservation projects that we are involved in. One of our keepers will introduce you to our Lemurs and the other species that share this exhibit.
12 noon (everyday)
Big cats
There is no routine to our big cat feeding times; in the wild they will gorge themselves on a meal and probably not feed again for several days. We do our best to simulate natural conditions so our big cats are not fed daily.
Children’s farmyard
All the animals in the children’s farmyard may be approached and in some cases will allow themselves to be touched or stroked. After touching the animals we do recommend that you wash your hands using the hand washing facilities at the farmyard.
Narrow-gauge railway
The narrow-gauge railway runs during April to October from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm (weather permitting) and takes you all around the Park. Train fares: Adult: £2.00, Children: £1.00, under 3’s free of charge.
During April to October from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm
Adventure playground
‘Skymaze’ has interconnecting treehouses with jungle bridges and slides, climbing to a bird’s eye view of the Park over 20 feet high! There is also a separate large tree house with slide, adventure area, swings and space net. For little ones there is a ‘Mini Manor’ with slides and interconnecting treehouses and a mini zip wire.
