Discovery Days

With over 250 species to see, a narrow-gauge railway, an exciting playground and over 160 acres of beautiful parkland we offer the perfect learning environment.

We invite home educated families to join us for our Discovery Days here at the Park, where children from Reception up to Year 11 can come and explore the species housed here and complete a fun educational activity during their visit. Discovery Days are available to book during term time (excluding January, February and July). Please see the booking calendar for the specific dates each month.

Educational Activity

The Discovery Day tickets include a free drop-in session with the Education team and age-related activities to complete out and about in the Park. The drop-in session details will be listed in your confirmation letter once you have booked your place.

Each month we will offer activities based on a different topic – please see the information below.

Admission

If you have season tickets you can use these to gain entry to the Park free for your Discovery Day. If you have a season ticket and would like to book a Discovery Day, please contact the education department directly on education@cotswoldwildlifepark.co.uk

These prices are available for home educators for Discovery Days only and must be pre-booked through the education department. If you wish to visit as a home educator at other times you will need to pay gate prices or pre-book e-tickets.

Book Your Visit

To book your home educator Discovery Day please follow the link below. Payment must be made at the time of booking. The Discovery Day must be pre-booked a minimum of 2 working days in advance. Your booking is not confirmed until you have received a booking confirmation letter from us. The information you provide for your booking will be secure and confidential. For more details of how we store and use data, please see our Privacy Policy. Bookings are non-refundable. However, we can reschedule your booking to an alternative date.
