Day Out for the Senses
The Park offers the perfect sensory experience for your Special Educational Needs (SEN) group.
The majority of the Park is accessible to wheelchairs, including the train, and we also offer a Changing Places facility. We have created a sensory friendly map to support any young visitors with additional sensory needs whilst on their visit to Cotswold Wildlife Park. Please click the link to download the map.
Educational Talks
All of our talks are around 30 minutes and the first talk is FREE for SEN groups.
Please note that our talks get booked up a long way in advance so we strongly suggest booking early to avoid disappointment.
Please see below the talks we would recommend for SEN schools each with further information about the talk and how they can help link to the national curriculum. If you would prefer one of our primary school talks delivered out in the Park, we can adapt the talk for your group.
Admission
We have a minimum supervision ratio of one adult to 10 pupils/students for all groups aged 16 and under as they MUST remain with an adult at all times. This is to ensure that both your group and other visitors to the park get the most from their day.
If you have pupils, or staff, with season tickets they can use these to get into the Park free with your group. The pupils using season tickets for admission will count towards your adult/pupil free place ratio. Pre-school children under 3 are admitted free of charge but they will not count towards your free adult ratio.
