This wonderfully illustrated book is the first official publication dedicated to the gardens at Cotswold Wildlife Park.

“A sparkling insight into the exotic and wonderfully imaginative horticulture that weaves through the Cotswold Wildlife Park. A beautiful book to celebrate a beautiful place.” – Stephen Lacey, Daily Telegraph.

With nearly 500 stunning photographs taken in all seasons, it covers the diversity of the Park’s much-admired plants and landscapes, as well as the challenges of gardening in an environment with over 250 exotic animal species.

In the book’s Foreword, Roy Lancaster CBE wrote: “Now, at last, we have a book, beautifully illustrated, devoted to the gardens and plants and their important and often colourful contribution to the visitor experience.”

Harriet Rycroft said: “It gives you a taste of the huge range of plants and planting styles at the Park – from bedding out vast banana plants or enormous cacti to our own style of prairie planting around the Rhino paddock. We give an insight into the thinking behind the planting, which is not simply decorative but also provides changes in atmosphere, a sense of exploration, as well as shade and shelter for both animals and visitors. We also talk about some of the methods we use to keep it looking good all year”.

The Cotswold Wildlife Park – A Celebration of the Gardens is available to buy from the Park’s Gift Shop for £15.00 or via our online shop for £18.00 (including P&P, UK only).
