What is the Animal Adoption Scheme?

A visit to the Cotswold Wildlife Park can now be more worthwhile. By adopting an animal you can provide a helpful contribution towards the phenomenal cost of keeping and feeding the animals and supporting our conservation and breeding programmes.

Who can Adopt and How?

Anyone can adopt an animal: an individual or a large company, a brownie pack or a home for the elderly. To adopt visit the adoptions section in our online shop where you can find more details on the scheme and a full list of animals available to adopt, you can then process your entire order online. Alternatively if you would prefer to complete your adoption by post, follow the link on the right to go to the ordering information page and download a booking form which can then be sent with your cheque or postal order to the Park.

  • Animal adoptions last for one year and you will receive an adoption pack containing
  • Free admission tickets
    - £15 farmyard adopter (available to under 16’s only) receive one child’s ticket
    - £30 and £50 adopters receive two adult tickets
  • Colour picture of an animal from your chosen species
  • Certificate of adoption
  • Newsletter
  • Car Sticker
  • Farmyard adopters also received a Cotswold Wildlife Park badge

The adopter's name is displayed on adoption boards around the Park; these names are displayed on a monthly basis in arrears so please allow up to five weeks from the start date of the adoption for the name to be displayed.

Adoptions as Gifts

Looking for a present for the person who has everything? Adoptions make unusual gifts at Christmas, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Mother's Day or Father's Day. The date will be printed on the certificate.

Please allow a minimum of two weeks for the adoption to be processed.

Animal adoption applies to the species rather than the individual animal, as animals may leave the Park for a variety of reasons including as part of a conservation and breeding programme. If this applies to the whole species you have adopted, we will advise you and you may transfer your adoption to another species.
