Snowdrops

Snowdrops

The much loved Snowdrop lifts our hearts during short winter days. It thrives throughout the Cotswolds and we are very fond of ours here at the Park. Swaths of them have grown naturally for many years in our West Meadow (between the Children’s Farmyard and the Rhino House) while elsewhere we have a fascinating collection of around 30 different varieties – many of them generously donated by distinguished galanthophile (Snowdrop enthusiast) Ronald McKenzie who lives locally. Many of them can be seen in our Winter Garden.

Don’t forget the Park’s first official book celebrating the gardens, including the stunning Winter Garden, is available to purchase here.
