The Oak Tree Restaurant serves hot meals and snacks.

Refreshment kiosks can be found near the Zebra house, adjacent to the Gift Shops and close to the adventure playground. A Sandwich Bar is located close to the main car park.

There are picnic shelters around the Park, or you can enjoy your picnic on one of the spacious lawns which overlook the enclosures for rhinos, zebras and ostriches.

Barbecues are not allowed around the Park.

The Orangery can be booked for lunch by groups or businesses.

Please use one of the many litter bins for your rubbish, and do not let it blow around the Park: it can be hazardous for the animals.

 

There is easy access for wheelchairs to all enclosures and to the self-service cafeteria. A limited number of wheelchairs are kept in the Manor House and there is no charge for their use: enquiries should be made to the general office.

There are excellent toilet facilities for the disabled.

One block of toilets is situated opposite the kiosks which are next to the Park Shop, another opposite the Zebra House. You will find others in the Manor House courtyard and in the restaurant. Baby changing facilities are available in all the toilet blocks.

Bicycles, scooters, skateboards or skates are not allowed around the Park.

 

Parking is free for visitors to the Park. There is a large tarmac area for coaches and ample disabled parking.

 

A first aid post is situated opposite the general office in the Manor House.

Dogs may be brought into the Park provided that they are kept on a lead and under control at all times. However, dogs may not be taken into the Bat Belfry, Reptile House, Children's Farmyard and any areas with free ranging animals.

We would appreciate it if you would clean up after your pet. Ask at the pay desk for a bag.


Lost Property and Lost Children - Enquiries should be made to the general office.
The Park has a closed circuit television system and a tannoy system. All key staff on site have immediate radio contact with each other.
