Work Experience 2013 - criteria

All students must have an interest in following an animal related career path. Relevant practical experience would be an advantage.

Students aged 16 – 18 can apply for a one to two week placement on our Children’s Farm area working predominantly with domestic species.

Students aged 18 and above can apply for a minimum of a four week placement working on one of our 4 animal sections;

  • Reptiles & invertebrates
  • Birds
  • Small mammals & primates
  • Large mammals

Whilst every effort will be made to match your interest with the relevant section, due to the high demand for placements this will not always be possible.

Please note that due to the high volume of enquiries we receive, we are unable to respond to any requests that do not fit the above criteria.
