Secondary – Key Stage 3 & 4

We believe that for children in these key stages, a visit to the Park will be greatly enhanced with an education session.

We will happily provide any of the lower level talks to your group, using language and information appropriate to your pupils. Many of these fit in well with the KS3 & KS4 curriculum including our Adaptations, Rainforests and African Animals talks. In addition, we also offer talks on:

  • Birds of Prey
  • Primates
  • Animal Movement (for Biology, Art or Drama Students)
  • Enclosure Design
  • Conservation
  • Marketing and Business Studies

We can also run longer and more detailed workshops on any topic, should they require covering in a greater depth for your curriculum.

“CWP always provide fascinating keeper talks which directly complement the KS3 & GCSE curriculum requirements we request. They have frequently stimulated discussion and questioning from the students on the wider issues of conservation and wildlife management and allowed them to engage with the curriculum in a more contextualised setting.”
