Educational Visits
- Where appropriate, we give our educational talks out in the Park, rather than in a classroom, and talk about the animals the children can see at the time.
- We offer a number of standard talks and tours though we are very happy to organise a talk or tour to fit in with your curriculum.
- Our talks and tours take from thirty to forty minutes.
- We like to keep the size of the group to around twenty-five pupils and adults.
- Whilst many of our talks and tours relate to the National Curriculum, we give some just to enthuse and inspire the children about wildlife in general.
- Some of our tours are unavailable in June and July, due to pressure of visitor numbers in the Park.
- Teachers can arrange to have a free, preliminary visit, once they have booked a group into the Park. We require at least five working days notice of this visit, as we need to send out tickets for entry.

Winter Deals ...
We would like to encourage you to visit us in the autumn and spring, when the Park is quiet, rather than in the busy months of May, June and July. To this end, we will provide a talk or a tour for free for any group of up to thirty pupils you bring on any school term day between 1st September and 31st March. We will, however, still charge our normal admission fee for the group.
Should you choose to come in the summer i.e. 1st April to 31st August, we will charge £20.00 for each talk or tour, in addition to our normal entry fee.
